So, bank holiday weekend is here, and so is the Ramsbottom 1940's vintage weekend with the vehicles, people dressed up and steam trains, great fun!

So, after the trip to the museum we went into Bolton town centre and son and I went into the man cave....aka X Records, vinyl haven purveyors of the finest second hand and new music in town.  Luckily the owner and staff were kind enough to let me snap a few shots here, so thank you kindly and here they are

So, wet weather again.....surprise surprise, so a quick trip out to manchester museum....quite an impressive place to be honest..

So on a bright sunny gorgeous day I found myself on the road to the coast and almost passed this place, the workshop of master glass blower John Ditchfield, this place is well worth a visit, to watch the man craft some of the most amazing glass I have ever seen
