Classic American Cars...the little details

The level of detail on some of these American monsters is fantastic and in my humble opinion deserve a mini post of their own.  The hood ornaments alone are stunning..

Well I think I can safely say that the long hours of restoration, cleaning and polishing are worth it when you see these fantastic vehicles...

Classic American Cars at Tatton first post

So today we went down to the classic American Car show at Tatton Park and fun was has by all!  There were some amazing machines on display, from the well maintained and highly polished to the  old and dirty rusty ones, bikes, monster trucks, you name it, it was there!

So some pictures, as there were loads of cars, I will do a few posts, but to start with here are a few of the cars......wonder how much I need for a Mustang....

Well...when the chance comes around you just have to use the colour pop...

The start of something?

Well here I go, been thinking about doing this for a while and decided to take the plunge....Amateur photographer with loads of pictures that someone might like looking at.....hopefully!  Interested in all aspects of photography - landscape, portraits, UE, abstract, just shoot whatever takes my eye.

Last weekend I went to the 1940's weekend in Ramsbottom, Lancashire with my new camera and tried out a few of the functions

After these shots, I looked closer at the new toy and found the miniaturization setting, was quite impressed, hopefully some better shots should follow.....
