Anther place.....the Gormley statues...

So, Easter Sunday is upon us, and what better way to clear out the head after the previous days drinking than taking in some sea air, so off I went down to Crosby beach in Liverpool to view the art installation by Anthony Gormley, titled Another Place. Unfortunately the trip was not quite as successful as I would have hoped due to the tide being in, but undeterred I carried on.........

Port Isacc.......a.k.a Port Wenn from Doc Martin

Went over here after a visit to Boscastle, this place is stunning, no wonder it is used as the backdrop to ITV's Doc Martin......

A view over the port with the Doc's house and Bert Large's restaurant

Aha....colour pop.....

The stunning port

Hello Doc.....

Panoramic view of the harbour

On a whim i checked out the property prices here, you know, just in case...but seeing as a 2 bed cottage starts around £300k i think I will give it a miss......

Boscastle

And another hour or so in the car found me in Boscastle....well, what can I say about the place....not much apart from...damn boring, pretty (ish) but boring, in fact I might say that the flood could have been the most exciting thing to happen there since, well, forever.  There is however a witchcraft museum that passed 10 minutes, that seems to be dedicated to people burning naked women, or men with swords...

A couple of poor pics from inside...

And now onto the outside...

A rebel....sitting on the window ledge....naughty!

St Ives

On my way to St Ives, I met a man with seven wives, each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats, each cat had seven kittens.  Kittens, cats, sacks and wives....how many were going to St Ives??

Anyway enough of that, and to be honest, I didnt meet him...tried to find him but failed..

This place was my favourite to visit, as I am sure you can tell from the sheer quantity of photos...

I sense the dog has spotted something....

And you thought there would be no colour pop in this post....

Seals in the harbour....I suppose it would be inappropriate to ask if anyone fancies going clubbing..ok ok poor taste....
